Welcome to the eBay Classifieds Group in the Netherlands, home to Marktplaats, 2dehands.be, and our central classifieds technology teams. Marktplaats B.V. was founded in 1999, and formally joined eBay in 2004. 2dehands.nl and 2dehands.be are recent additions to the eBay family, having joined in 2013. As the largest classifieds platforms in the Netherlands and Belgium, both business units are leaders in their respective markets.
Amsterdam is a green, park-like city that often feels like a village, but with everything a city needs. Our office is just a few steps away from the Amstel River, and next door to a major public transit station. The highway is not far and Schiphol Airport (the second largest in the EU) is ten minutes by car. Amsterdam is a sporty city, so you can get everywhere on a bike in no time. It’s a snap to bike to work, and we even have ‘eBay bikes’ that can be used by employees or guests to come and go.
